The hotel sits at a great location, near the mall and some restaurants. In addition, the staff is courteous and competent. The room was VERY clean, and it was a great environment to get some work done.

We recently had our second stay at this hotel (the first was last May for our daughter's wedding), and once again we were extremely pleased. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the service is top-notch, and the breakfast buffet has something for everyone (fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, Belgian waffles, oatmeal, ...

As any skilled traveler will tell you, Courtyards are largely identical and provide a comfortable stay and a good value. However, this particular Courtyard is outstanding as a result of the kind and caring front desk staff. One employee took the time to explain in great detail my dining options and had the staff bring to my room a microwave and refriderator, gartis!

Unfortunately, I was not vacationing in Charlottesville, but helping my father who was a patient at UVA Medical Center. The first time we stayed in C-ville, we stayed at the Red Roof Inn (unless you have pets who stay with you, beware!). the place was awesome! the view was excellent! everyone is very nice. good for someone with a family member in UVA or in their hospital. needs a mirror in the bathroom.
