This is a no-frills older hotel but the rooms are clean and spacious. I use it often as a crash pad when working in the area and all I am looking for is a bed/shower/TV. They just remodeled most of the rooms.

The only reason we stayed here is because it was late & the roads were all torn up & it was very hard to look for places to stay.

Bikers kept motoring in & out of the parking lot most of the night. Very noisy. The clerk wasn't what I would call friendly - no smile.

I've stayed in some dumpy places but this one takes the cake. I don't even know how to begin to desribe how unclean the room was. First, there was a two inch ring around the baseboards that I am sure has ever seen a vacuum. There were truly disgusting looking stains everywhere on both the floor and walls. I stayed here for a month over the course of two trips down here while deciding to move here. Being an older facility, it's a very comfortable place if you you don't mind lack of ambiance or putting up with a smaller room that may not have a light, airy atmosphere. But, for the price, you get your money's worth. A comfortable room at a palatable price is worth a lot!
