The bathroom wall had some disgusting splatter and the shower curtain had quite a bit of black mold. Used soap and shampoo was in the shower. The floor was dirty. We had reserved 2 nights but cut our trip short and decided to just go home without showering. The weekend manager said he was sorry but he wasn't the one to check rooms last ...

Stayed here with 5 adults and 5 children all under 10 last year. Clean, convenient location (we went to lake compounce), close to all shopping and restaurants, people were nice, pool immaculate, great breakfast, great for the price. Everyone was so happy, were staying there again this year.

The continental breakfast is great. Everyone is nice that works there. We go every year to a dinner party at the aqua turf and the shuttle brings us from the hotel to the party. This way we all drive safely back.
We will continue to go every year.

After checking into our room we discovered our toilet seat was broken. We notified the front desk, and, within minutes we had a new room, although it wasn't a non smoking room. The service was prompt and pleasant.

This Holiday Inn Express was a great choice. The rates were very reasonable, my room was outstanding, the staff were friendly. If I could change one thing about the property, I'd make breakfast more than just pastries and cereal. One of them waffle irons that have become so popular would be perfect.

I will absoloutely stay at this property on my next trip to the area.
