I moved away about four years ago but use dto spend every foruth of july up at the loedge..was planning on staying hter on my trip back this august..and am sad to hear it isnt open...=( it is one of th emost beautiful and romantic lodges i have been too... and the view of the lake is amazing

This lodge has been closed for two years... You need to take off of your travel for Grand Lake..People are making plans to visit this lodge and when they get here they are really disappointed...

You have to appreciate history to enjoy Grand Lake Lodge and the feel of the past with the present. The Lodge was commissioned to be built about the same time Yellowstone Lodge was built to service the National Park guests. The feel of rustic comfort still reigns over the entire resort. You must be up for hiking, due to the grounds unlevel area ...

The view is amazing and the service is top-notch. The location is right next to wonderful Rocky Mountain National Park and is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
