YikesYou would think from the price and their website that you would have every emenity possible but you don't. They even charge you $14 per day to use their wireless internet. If you are looking for cordial, make you feel good service - this is not the place for you. There is NO concierge service AT ALL. Misleadingthis hotel sucked! def. not what is advertised on their website. The grounds are beautiful but that is where it begins and ends. If you go and are booked in the Garden Lanai rooms - do NOT take them ask to be switched to the Tower. They renovated and destroyed the charmI had been here several years and ago and returned. What a shock to find that the beautiful wooden bar in the great room had been replaced by glass shelving. Very expensive salon and foodI was charged $289.00 for a color and short cut in the salon after they quoted $120.00.
Then the salon put the charge through the front desk twice. Neither would work with me
on a solution.
Food was over-priced, and worse, lousy.
turn down service was nice but cancelled by hotel with no notice.

Worst Customer Service Ever!!!I am Puerto Rican and have stayed in many locations on the island. While this hotel is good for night life, that's it. Stay somewhere else and just go there at night!

Disappointing!I've stayed at The San Juan Hotel about 5 times. Each time I visit they have new owners/management. Each time the service continues to get worse. I am originally from Puerto Rico and find most people at the service desk rude and unfriendly. The pool staff is usually friendly. I will not return to that hotel.

This is a party hotelThis hotel has it all for those who want to drink, party, and gamble. The hotel is beautiful with marble floors, mahagony wood arches, and recessed ceilings. Deteriorated HotelAfter staying at the El San Juan Hotel and Casino ten times over a 17 year period, I was astonished by how much the hotel has deteriorated. The newly renovated vista (standard) room was terrible.
