I would not consider Novotel close to the airport. There are many other airports that have better access to the airport including Golden Tulip and Cresta Royale.

Novotel is in Accra Central which is a congested part of town.

A basic, but clean and well-located hotel. The room are small and the furnishing are very 3-star. The restuarant is ok but unimaginative. The bar is fine, but over-run by prostitutes late at night. The pool is good, but the gym has no weights worth speaking of. Staff were helpful and always available without delay. On balance, I would stay there again because it is clean and well lcoated.
