The hotel was very nice when we stayed but the hallway walls and floors were being renovated. A lot of construction going on, but we had a nice stay! I'm sure it looks beautiful now after the renovation! I hope to stay there again soon!

Last year when the power went out, there were no emergency lights. The stairwells were treacherous. We almost killed ourselves trying to use the stairs. They should have had emergency lights in the stairwells!!

We used to call it our second home...I loved it during Charley, Jean, Francis, Wilma etc. It was our safe haven with our 2 cats, dog and bird.

But now they don't allow pets. So, don't know where to go during a hurricane.

Book a two night stay back in October. Only when I got there did I find out that the property was undergoing renovations. No apologies from local management or corporate. Awaken the next morning by someone sanding the wall outside our door. Arrived to late to make alternate arrangements. Lousy additude at front desk, dust and debris everywhere. Nuff said!
