The building we were in was 50's and worn. The bath faucet did not work, the hair dryer was broken and the small table by the window was worn and needed replacement. To charge $1.50 for a bottle of water setting on this worn table was really a "classy " addition. The restaurant was slow and while we were waiting to get a table 2 people leaving said "don't eat here its awful - so we left.
We have stayed at the Shiloh Inn every time we travel to Newberg and love it. The staff is always very helpful, polite and accommadating. They welcome both dogs and small children. The rooms are clean and breakfast is fine (for a continental breakfast). It's located right on Hwy 99 and near George Fox College. Everyone in my family uses this hotel when we stay in Newberg and we'll continue to do so!
