What a great place. The kids loved it. The pools were the kids favorite, really great slides. The dolphins were neat, the staff were nice. The food was excellent, the place was just amazing! A+ If you can afford it, stay here! Simply, the niceset hotel I have ever stayed in!

Dirty and Run Down

This was our third and last trip to this property. It was great way back when, now it is too expensive and over-rated. $4.99 for a bottle of water and $230 for dinner for 4 w/o booze. Life is too short to waste your valuable vacation time here. I was using up my Hilton points so the rooms were free (still too expensive). My advice would be the Mauna Lani.

Great stay in HI

I didn't know what to expect when I went to Hawaii but this resort was amazing. There were so many places to eat and things to do that we could have kept ourselves occupied for a week simply within the bounds of the hotel grounds. The food was great, the grounds were beautiful and the scenery is amazing!

Positives----Service was impeccable. From the moment we checked in until we left the service from top to bottom was flawless. The kids (10,7, and 2) loved the slides, the dolphins, the lagoon, the pool, the food, and the boats. Weather was awesome. Room service is the same price or lower than going to a restaurant, (never seen that before). ...
I stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village from Feb. 26nd to March 5th, (2006). The resort is extremely beautiful and while large, getting around the place was easy: boat, tram or walk. The boats and trams are not exactly speedy ways of getting around, but it's a vacation resort... you are there to relax... not rush around. Walking was a ...
Poor Service. Everything is a long wait. The check in counter is big but only 3 clerks were working. We waited over 20 mins to reach to the check in counter and waited 1 hour for the bell desk to bring our luggages to our room. The room is dirty and small. The room had uninvited guest -cockroachs. We reported to the front desk regarding the ...

Expected More From A Hilton

Disliked: There is no beach. What is one of the main reasons for going to Hawaii? To take in the beautiful sandy beaches. There are volcanic rocks you can (carefullY) climb down to reach the ocean and then (carefully) wade/swim in the ocean trying to avoid the lava flow. There is no service aspect. Our phone in the room was broken and ...
It's a total experiance period. You could check in here and have a complete Hawiian Vacation and never have to leave the 60-something acer property. We swam in the Lagoon with Large Sea Turtles and brightly colored tropical fish, got to pet a Dolphin and ate way more than we should have ~!~ My only complaint is the food is a bit pricy here, ...
As I actually type this review at his hotel room at this juncture in time, and I can honestly say that this hotel is great island getaway. It is my second time, with my family, to stay here.
A tourist can certainly enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer, from the water parks, the golfing all the way to the dining. Luxurious and fun for ...
