With the exception of the great location of this hotel (only a block or two from the heart of town) it is otherwise very average particularly considering the high rates. My favorite thing about this hotel, besides it's location to Portsmouth's Market Square, is the restaurant.

They have excellent food and service. The Sunday Brunches are fantastic!

I even had a function (wedding) hosted there, and the service and food were outstanding.

The rooms are very nice.

We are frequent visitors to the NH seacoast and have stayed in about a dozen different hotels in as many years. We were disappointed here. The location is spectacular, right on the working harbor. You can smell the salt air and watch the sailboats and lobsterboats traverse the Piscataqua River. But the hotel doesn't work on many levels. ...

The rooms were cozy. We enjoyed our stay. Very New England location. Went shopping in Portsmouth and Kittery. Food was delicious and the entertainment downstairs was fun!

The Sheraton Harborside is in an excellent location and a quick walk to the scenic town area. My area of concern is that the hotel could not find my luggage they had stored for us while waiting for our room to be ready. When my luggage was found it was in some obscure facility room in the hotel.

This hotel offers a central location, close to shopping, dining, and attractions in Portsmouth,NH. The service, and amenities are consistent with most Sheratons I've been to.
One nice thing about this hotel is that parking is free in a lot across the street. Most hotels in this class, that I've been to, charge a pretty substantial fee for parking.

My husband and I stayed here the night we were married and we had the MOST wonderful experience,apon our arrival the Hotel that I had reserved the day before mind you;had put a most beautiful silver Tray of Chocolate covered starwberrys a bottle of Champain chilling in ice (WOW)My husband and I will never forget the wonderful experience we had,infact I'm booking right now for our 1 year anniversary this weekend,
