It is peaceful and quite and the restaurant is outstanding. The rooms are clean. The area is great. We have taken family and friends and they all love it as much as we do. We take a drive up if we are in the Fresno area around dinner just to have dinner.

We were so pleasantly suprised when we arrived to find such a beautiful, romantic spot. This is an old motel style Inn with about 25 rooms, a pool and hot tub, beautiful gardens and amazing restaurant. Everything was just perfect. The room was clean and felt like there was that personal touch that made me feel so comfortable. The view was absolutly breathtaking. Great breakfast, a vaiety of goodies.
The Staff was wonderful and helpful. I highly recommend you Inn.

This gem of a lodge is a perfect spot to stop and refresh if you're driving to Yosemite from L.A. or environs. It is just a few miles from the South Entrance, and has a fine dining room for dinner. The Narrow Gauge Inn is quaint, beautifully decorated, nestled amidst pine trees, birds, squirrels and deer. The rooms are clean, the beds very comfortable. The restaurant serves the best food, the staff is very friendly, the owner even comes out to greet you!

We go every year and love it!
