5 of us rented the 2 rooms in late summer of 08'. 2 in the childrens room on one side of the main house and 3 of us in Gen Bradford room on the other side of main house. Since I have learned they don't allow three to stay in the Gen Bradford Suite. We thought about going again and I was told the 'owner say's 3 people in the room is ...
We paid $8, drove for hours to receive an 10 minute limited info tour. We learned more information from the Discovery Channel. New Orleans haunting/hostory tours are way better than this!!!

My sister and I have visited 4 times in 4 years and just got back from our 4th trip. The first 3 were great. We arrived and checked in & napped (it's a 9 hour trip one way) then sat on the back porch to smoke as we always have. We were talking to 3 ladies from California when she (Bobbie) came and started screaming at us about smoking on ...

We Can't Wait To Go Back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/09
We stayed last night with a group of 12 friends. We rented 6 rooms. Six of us stayed in the main house while the other six stayed in the cottages. We really had a great time, however my wife and I didn't really experience anything out of the ordinary, some of our friends felt they did. My wife and I stayed in the Fannie Williams room ...

Although, I had toured the home several years ago, and was not impressed , I thought the overnight trip ( with girlfriends) would be a blast. NOT!!! We did not have any experiences, and that's fine. The staff was very pleasent, we were there on Tuesday so the Resturant was closed, I can't comment on the food, HOWEVER... we had rooms #8,9, ...
The Myrtles is a beautiful place and I can't wait to return. The history is fascinating. I didn't experience any unusual activity, although I wish I had. Understanding up front this place was built in 1796 it is still a great place to stay. The staff was wonderful and a pleasure to talk with. I found Theresa and Moses very helpful. The ...
We stayed at the plantation during the holidays and had a wonderful time. They had some damage form one of the hurricanes but it's obvious theey are working hard and making it! There is a new restaurant on the grounds that was amazing. The food and atmosphere were top notch but the new owners were the best. Friendly and accommodating as one could possibly be! We highly recommend you take a trip to St. Francisville and the Myrtles!
We will never go back to this plantation again. We stayed in the Judge Woodruff suite. The room was absolutely gross as was our bathroom. The staff however was wonderful and very nice to us. I do not recommend staying here, it is not a value for the money you are paying. Also, it's not haunted in any way.
Gone is the fine dining restaurant. The one in its place appears to serve Chicken and Dumplings from a can and its biggest boast is that everything is under $13. Might have been half that, to be fair. The landscaping has been given over to prisoners on work-release (you can't tell who they are because they don't wear any sort of ...
