GREAT PLACE!!For my 14th bday party went...me my mom my aunt and three of my best friends spent the night in the myrtles! we had a blast!!!...the staff was soooo nice!..and my friend got a perfect pic of chloe standing in outside!!..the other guest and...as well as we did...stayed up abd on the porch until "the witching hour"...or about three...wen ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

What a Rip Off!This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had! The manager was incredibly rude and kept writing us nasty messages and slipping them under our door. It was very creepy and scary - much more so than the ghosts that alledgedly haunt the place. The rooms and bathrooms were filthy. Breakfast was indedible. Left in the middle of the nightThe myrtles is a beautiful place. Ms Hester is very sweet. The only thing service related that I didnt like was the fact that there is absolutely no staff there after closing for guest security.The plantation sits off a very busy road, not visable from the street There was no phone in the room either. horrible!!!!the staff was extremely rude. We received a gift of a one night's stay as a birthday present. when we called 2 days before to confirm our arrival , they could not find where we were booked, and had no room available. OVER RatedI understand that this area and B&B is old, but a clean shower would be nice. The bathrooms need updating from the 1970’s as they are not original, the toilet and stained shower was the scariest thing on the plantation, and the ghosts had nothing on the filth in the shower and sink.

nice groundsThe grounds were pretty and the restaurant was nice. I was disappointed when I asked for change and the man in the back piped in and said to go the exxon station up the road. A-W-E-S-O-M-EMy husband and I traveled from Michigan to spend a week in New Orleans with family members for my birthday. During our vacation we decided to take a one night detour to stay at the Myrtles.... It was the best decision ever.

AMAZING!!!My husband and stayed at the Myrtles Plantantion a couple years ago and I cant wait to go back. We not only heard things but captured some amazing things on both digital and 35mm film.

Wonderfully Relaxing!Over all I loved the entire visit to Myrtles! It was a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, fun and welcoming. They are just as much in my memories as the place.
For those seeking ghosts, there is "something" there. But that is another story for another time.
The location is excellent for sight-seeing. And not too far form other cities of interest.
