Easy check-in, good internet connection, bed was not too small, no bed bugs, carpet was clean, bathroom was clean, did not smell bad, helpful staff, lent us a screwdriver that we needed to fix something, allowed us to push our check out time from 11 to noon, lobby seemed very fancy, includes pool and sauna, and continental breakfast which was okay, nothing exceptional

The location is great for those visiting UW Madison. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Nice free hot breakfast in the morning, with complimentary WIFI and parking

I've stayed here a few times over the last 3 years, most recently in April 2008. The hotel has been updated a bit over the last year, and is very accomodating. the staff does not know how to run a hotel. the rooms donot have air so the rooms get real stuffy.
This is not a hotel that someone that stays in hotels on a regular bases should consider.
this place is run by kids that don't care about the client

The customer service could be nicer and smile a little. If you already checked out and need to make a phone call they don't help you. They tell me I can't call from their phones and there are not public phone inside or outside unless you walk at the U.
The room and bathroom are small but cozy. the breakfast was free and good. You can park your car in their parking lot no later 5 p.m after checking out.

I've heard that the building actually used to be a dorm. That explains the size and the excellent location. The beds were not double but not twin...somewhere in between.
