I am from the central part of Trinidad and anytime my husband and i want to get away from it all, we just have to take a short drive and go to Marriot Hotel in Port-of-SPain to relax, rest and rejuvenate.

The staff was wonderful! I loved being right next door to a shopping plaza! It was so full of life and great places to shop and eat! Didn't really care for the view from the room. The balcony was relaxing, however the view was some type of high rise building that blocked the view of the sea.

I travel to Trinidad on business at least once a month. This is the cleanest hotel around. I have stayed in many of the other hotels and this one is the best by far. Not only is it the newest but they have a very good restaurant. The hotel staff is also very friendly.

It was in a convenient location, staff was very friendly and it was clean and comfortable.
I would recommend some one stay there. I would love to stay there again but cannot afford it myself.

I was a little aprehensive about this Courtyard considering it was primarily a business hotel (I was on vacation) and cheaper compared to the Hilton and Crowne Plaza. I stayed in three different hotels while in Trinidad, this was by far the best. The Crown Plaza is too expensive and others are not as good. Great food in the restaurant too. Other restaurants(Great Chinese), shopping, and movie theater all in walking distance.
