    My Husband proposed to me and he had reserved a room at the Inn for us! It was incredible. The InnKeeper was so sweet and helpful.     The Hawthorn Inn was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever visited. Camden, Maine is a lovely town and the Hawthorn Inn fits right in. Our room was in the Carriage House which is behind the main inn and is very private. Our room had a patio with a rock garden which overlooked the Celtic Gardens beyond.     This has been my third stay at the Hawthorn Inn and definitely won't be my last. It is a refuge from the hectic life I lead as an ER nurse in NYC.   • Best Bed and Breakfast I have every stayed in!

    The Hawthorn Inn in Camden is the best bed and breakfast that my husband and I have ever stayed in. The decor was beautiful, the food tremendous and the Innkeeper Maryanne, dedicated and delightful. Maryanne went the extra mile in every area to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The robes that we purchased from her gift shop were a marvelous gift, which our friends have loved! All in all a very enjoyable stay!
