We have gone a few times now and the place is great. The kids (6,4,2) love it. There is plenty to do and see. The lodging is nice but the newer buildings are nicer (obviously) then the older buildings.
The food onsite is expensive. Plan on cooking in to save money. The onsite babysitting is great (and safe). If you have little ones do not ...
The location was great! However, the Resort itself was dirty when we checked in and the front desk didn't seem to pay much attention to our concerns. There was someone else's used up ice cream contained in the freezer and there were large chunks of half-eaten bread on our balcony. Also, the jacauzzi was spitting out DIRT and sand, which ...
Smugglers Notch in the summer has all day camp for the kids in our family.. We leave them at 9 AM and they are with hundreds of other kids all day, making friends and enjoying the supervised activities. In the evening our 15 year old has a teen lounge to go to. It give us a real chance to relax and be on our own all day. That is what they ...

Great family place - winter or summer !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/04/07
Smugglers Notch is a great place to take the family skiing. (It is also fabulous in the summer with multiple heated outdoor swimming pools and water slides for all ages and abilities.) Day ski camps for kids and daycare for babies allows Mom/Dad a chance to ski and everyone can enjoy the snow at their own pace. Arrange to pickup your children a ...

Very enjoyable!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/07
We went down to Stowe from Montreal to see the foliage, which is always spectacular, for the first weekend in October 2007. We were a bit leery about going, since we had read so many negative reviews of this place online, complaining of everything from sticky floors to musty smells and antiquated, rundown furniture and facilities. We found, to our ...

Super fun place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/06
There is lots to do at Smugglers Notch. The mountains are beautiful! We always have fun here. As faras that one reviewer said about groceries being 25 minutes away, that is if you need a huge store, otherwise the local general stores are just 5 minutes away in the town of Jeffersonville, and they are sufficient for vacation needs.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/05
Smugglers offers fun activities for kids of all ages from toddler through teens. There is plenty of fun and opportunity to explore. The condos are beautiful and spacious. This is our kids favorite place to go in the summer!
This was the best vacation we had ever been on, and that includes Europe, Florida, California, NYC, Seattle, Hawaii, Cancun. With 4 kids running from one activity to another, mom and dad got to enjoy each other and the most beautiful mountains you can imagine. Great for all ages from birth to 110. Sister-in-law loved having a condo with ...

This is a great vacation spot for those with kids! There's so much to do! Camps and shows and nice accomodations makes this a place my family will return year after year. It's Vermont.... so it's BEAUTIFUL! It's best to have your own car though. This is in the ski country of VT and the nearest grocery store is about 25 min away. The ...
