The Bristol Motel is located right on the beach so you can't beat the location. The service was excellent. We asked the front desk to send someone to the room first to fix the light bulb in the bathroom and then to unclog the shower drain and both times a friendly service man was at our room within minutes. The Bristol was clean- the bathroom, ...

One of our favorites
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/09/07
We have been traveling to the Wildwoods since 1990, sometimes 2-3 times per year. Throughout this time we have stayed at many, many hotels. We have found that the Bristol Plaza is one of the cleanest, nicest places we have been and their rates are very reasonable. We have never had any problems during any of our stays there.Great views and southern exposure along with friendly staff make this a must for first time visitors to the island!

Rooms by pool are lousy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/06
We booked 2 rooms for 5 of us, 2 adults, 2 teenage boys, 1 teenage girl. I had asked for a renovated room after I read the reviews on the website. We did not get renovated rooms. We were ground level by the pool. The kitchen is really just a cooktop that poorly heats. We fried some fish that we caught and the exhaust fan did not work well at all. ...

We will be back next year!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/24/06
This was our first trip to Wildwood Crest and the Bristol Plaza...and it will definitely NOT be our last!! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the view from the deck...Our daughters loved the pool and the game room. The heated pool was a plus! The location of the Bristol was right at the ocean...so convenient! We loved our stay!! We will be at the Bristol again next year!

Not very happy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/06
Wasn't to impressed. They really need to update. The pull out sofa was plastic. Not very comfertable. The game room smelled so bad like mildew it made me sick. The only nice thing was the view was perfect. Next time we go I will try to find a nicer place to stay. For $232 a night it could have been alot better.

The Best in the Crest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/15/06
The Bristol Plaza is definately the best hotel in Wildwood Crest. This will be our 7th year staying there. We just love it. I recommend this to everyone who's looking for a nice escape from the world. The people at the front desk are so helpful and will assist you with anything you need. It has great rooms, a nice pool area, a fun gameroom, ...

A Working Family's Paradise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/06
Over the years my wife, Sue, and I have vacationed at four hotels in the Wildwoods. About ten years ago we stopped to see what the Bristol was like. It was a standard beachfront hotel. But the BIG DIFFERENCE was that everyone, from Bob and Vera(the owners) to Kate(the manager) to the staff, made us feel like we were actually part of their family. I ...
