Room 104 unacceptableWe had a lovely time in eastern connecticut. The restaurants at the Inn are great and the services staff is gracious.

Country ParadiseWhile the location is not-quite-so ideal (there's not a lot to do in Ivoryton/Essex), this place is simply gorgeous and the service is wonderful, from the ever-present and overly-helpful staff, to the world-reknowned chefs in house, to the quaint and moderately unique rooms available. Great Meal, Awful RoomMeal was wonderful, wine list superb, service impeccable. Room 104 was hot (87 degrees with the air conditioner on full), noisy (kitchen exhaust fan clunking right outside the window), cramped and quite crude. Very disappointing. Eat there.
