this used to be a nice place. Not the cleanest, but clean enough, and not so clean that you had to worry about the kids dirtying the carpet.Nice grounds, ignorant people running the place. my large family has gone there for 9 years straight, and just trying to get the office staff to call back so we could make a reservtion has proven impossible. ...

the skylark is very clean, very considerate, helpful staff. very safe place for the children to play. like the location to other things- restaurant, bait shop. will stay longer with more family next time

Great location and nice grounds. Place is filthy and most of the maids do poor job. For boaters the owner didn't even put out the 5 mile buoys this year so a lot of boats came too close to the docks.
New sign this year but dirty rooms and lack of utensils in the kitchens. It appears the new owner has no idea how to run a resort.We will not go back

it is great. its in a quiet area and great for every body. boatig for the family and a park to send kids to. is are seventh year andwe will always stay there.

The family has been going here for over 30 years.. the rooms are clean. they have made a ton of updates, new carpet, new paint, etc...like it allot better than the other Motels in the area for sure

I was just there in June and now I can not believe the changes! They have a brand new manager name Art. He is very nice and good with the customers! He has hired all new employees. What a improvement! Finally they are installing Brand New Carpet & Bedspreads in all the rooms. My wife and I was so happy to see the improvements! It was about time!

Good Location if you can over look the rude staff rooms not being ready feet turning black from the carpets(Yes that dirty!) as was the rest of the room walls beds bath etc.

This was the worst three diamond rated motel that we have ever stayed. The office staff was very unfriendly and rude. The rooms were filthy. The whole experience was most unpleasant. Would NEVER recommend or stay there again.
