Close to old town. Very "non-resort" Perfect B&B. They really treat you like family!

my wife and i have spent our pre-christmas ski week with these folks since i found them on an internet search a few years ago. location is superb, staff is extremely accommodating; food is good and the inn is very comfortable ( we have stayed in the ms. urie suite which allows us more than ample room ). highly recommended.

It was a peaceful spring getaway with a comfortable room and bed along with an excellent breakfast-all homemade! The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable, and we had the hottub to ourselves (off-season time). The only thing I wished for was a bigger room, as their website pictures make the rooms look so big and roomy which was not the case.

We especially loved the romance and the history. We appreciate old architecture and this is truly one of America's castles! The story of the school's original construction in the late 1800s and how it was rescued to become the charming inn that it is today, is incredibly fascinating.
The personal attention from the wonderful staff was welcome but not intrusive and the food was exceptional too.
