I stayed at the Hillcrest Motel for a few weeks between leases. Its fairly clean and quiet and didn't really have problems with it for most of my stay. However, one day one of the maids (Inca, the blonde one) who lives and works at the motel was arrested, along with her boyfriend, for dealing drugs out of the motel. She made bail and was back the next day cleaning rooms. Don't know why she wasn't fired and evicted.

We came to Moscow for UI graduation and the only room available was a smoking room but we didn't smell any smoke at all. The room, including bathroom, was very clean, spacious, but dated. Cleanliness is the most important factor to me so I liked staying there.

This is a nice, friendly motel. I found it clean and afordible. Close to downtown Moscow and supermarket.Will stay there again for the 08 football season.

The first room I was in was clean with a comfortable bed and nice space. I was very happy to find such good accommodation. Unfortunately the neighbor upstairs was very loud, stomping and pacing around all night, without a break, into the morning. Sometimes it sounded as though he was doing the plumbing with a sledge hammer at 5:30 am. ...

I have stayed here while visiting my son at Washington State University, 15 to 20 min. from campus. Clean and quiet, $65.00 per night for Fathers Weekend. Very nice continental breakfast, friendly and located on the edge of town with markets 2 blocks aways. If you are a non smoker like me you may not like this place, I ask for the room to have the air cleaned and this does help.

If your looking for a fancy place to stay...well maybe you should keep looking. But if its a well rounded, affordable, friendly, mom and pop operation your looking for there isn't anything comparable in the area to the Hillcrest.
