We visit Mountain View once or twice a year and we always stay at the Dogwood Motel. It's clean, close to things we want to see, and the owners are so accommodating and helpful. We appreciate the low room rates and when compared to other motels in town, there's no comparison. This place is really great. Situated on the Upper Umpqua River, this place is a short hop to fantastic whitewater rafting, flyfishing and hiking. Our family stayed here for two days while rafting the Umpqua and really enjoyed our stay. All the rooms are the traditional wood cabins with fine interior finishes.
