LOCATION:
You couldn't ask for a better location in DC. The Grand Hyatt is within walking distance to all of the museums, monuments, and the White House. The MCI Sports Center is also located 3 short blocks away.

This Hotel is a MUST VisitMy 3 children and I spent a 4 day/3 night vacation in D.C last July and stayed at the Grand Hyatt Washington. From the moment you walk through the doors and set your eyes on the Atrium, you will be in love. There is no other hotel we will even think of using when we return to D.C. Good but not greatThis hotel has a beautiful lobby with rooms able to look down on the guests. Was able to upgrade to Business suite very easy, which includes free passes to workout center and breakfast buffet. I suggest to skip the buffet and walk across the street to the Marriot for breakfast. Never go backFor the price I was very upset at this hotel. We requested a smoking room and they put us on a non-smoking floor.For the price you should'nt have to pay for the pool. And they were very nasty at the pool.Also tried to use the cart to leave and someone told my husband we could'nt use it. Awesome PlaceI went with my boyfriends parents on a sightseeing trip to DC in April and had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt. We wanted to be in a central location to access as many attractions as possible and were very pleased immediately.

Wouldnt go back!!I think this hotel is all about fluff. While the courtyard is magnificent and meeting rooms are large and accommodating, I found that the rooms were nothing short of average. I have stayed at other establishments where the rooms were almost identical to this one. I felt as though this establishment was long on visuals and short on comfort. We will be back again......My family and i stayed in this hotel for four(4) days and three(3) nights. Great hotel and location. Within walking distance of everything(I.E. White House,China Town,
Smithsonian,HardRock Cafe, ESPN ZONE. The Metro is located in the hotel. We drove in on a Friday and didnt drive the car again until we left on Monday. The metro is the way to go... AAA+++++ value..
