We have stayed at the Blue Jay every year for years. Really loved the place an owners. We drove to where the hotel had been and it was totally gone. It was really a sad moment. Anyway thanks for the memories.

We liked everything ! The sunsets on the bay are beautiful. The owners were very friendly and there was free coffee each morning in the lobby. It was very clean and rather art deco and 1950s like. I heard it will be or has been destroyed due to the hi-rise condo rage. Sure hope not. It's a gem.

Now have 2 kids lovely and quiet great fishing off the jetty also.highly reccommended .flora and to be seen to be beleived especialy bt U.K visitors rooms lovely and clean barbq on request great restaurants nearby BUT WHY AM I TELLING YOU THIS THAT MEANS LESS ROOM FOR US !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just arrived from 6th year here.Only to find original owners had to sell just before we arrived.Did not feel the same.

We would have liked to have stayed here even longer. The owners were extremely friendly, and they were willing to make our stay as great as possible. The motel is within walking distance to EVERYTHING, and yet it is away from the chaos! I know big townhouses are going in all around them. I hope the Blue Jay stays right where it is! I will definitely stay there again!

I would go back to BJ in the future again.
