We stayed for three days and were very disappointed. An unfriendly initial welcome from reception (though later a different staff person was very helpful with local recommendations), shabby room, budget hotel-style breakfast, and things were stolen from our room while we were out for the day at a wedding. Considering the room rates, we expected a ...
My wife and I had dinner at your establishment last Saturday night, May 20 as we have several times a year over the past 15 years. We had planned ahead and made reservations the previous Tuesday. At the time my wife made the reservation, there was no mention of the other larger parties or seating options available.
The Brewster Inn is a great place to stay. My Aunt Grandmother and I stayed an overnight at the Brewster Inn recently for a college visit the following day and the staff was great! We arrived a little bit later than expected and they were more than accomodating. We received a room in the Carriage House, being some of the only ones in the house, ...
From the moment you walk in the door you see that you are in a very special place. The accomidations are clean and come decorated with antiques. If that isn't enough, the staff is friendly and accomidating and the view out onto the lake is georgous. They have a beautiful garden on the side and an outside deck that dinner is served on.The ...
We stayed at the Brewster Inn at the time because of the convenience of the location for a trip we had to take in October 2005. We were there for a three day weekend. Room accomodations were fine and service during our stay was average.
We had two of our evening meals at their restaurant. The food selections we chose were excellent. Their ...
We have requested the Brewster Inn to host our annual meeting for the last 3 years. The rooms are lovely and always welcoming. One can receive a wonderful night's sleep due to the quiet evenings at the inn.
Dinner is divine as I like to describe hot gourmet-like food. The morning's continental breakfast is better than the average with ...
Just a note to say that the "Brewster" is a great place and after reading the posted review, I wondered whether this person ever complained to the staff - Knowing the Brewster Inn for most of my life _(it used to be Lake Meadows Inn) I find it hard to believe that these problems wouldn't have been addressed immediately by the staff - ...
From the moment of entering when the desk person didn't bother to look up or smile to greet me, to the uncomfortable bed, to the vacuuming at 7:30 AM, to the bland breakfast and lukewarm tea, it was an unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this inn. We have stayed at many bed and breakfast inns and this was without question the worst.
