It's not fancy, but very cozy with its fireplaces and home like atmosphere. The people are great and very helpful. I prefer this motel by far over the other choices in the area. It is unique.

This motel is unique and always has been. I have stayed at Abby Green many times over the years and have enjoyed each and every visit. This is not a posh five star hotel and nor was it ever designed to be. It's a quaint one of a kind place that feels more like a bed and breakfast than a motel. I really like the Irish like setting its in. Different rooms have different irish themes. In addition, there is also an Irish shop next door where you can buy many irish items.

I have stayed at the Abbey Green many times. Over the years it has evolved from a simple motor lodge to a very stylish and fun hotel. There are just a few rooms, but they are equipped with dishes, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, which is far more than you get in any other motel for the money. The Abbey Green Motor Lodge is not as advertised. It is a 5 unit lodge and does not deliver any nicities. We stayed 3 nights and received coffee the 1st morning. The "kitchen" was a microwave, small frig, dishes, coffee maker. There was no place or equiptment to wash dishes, no trash removal, no bed making, no nothing. Flannel sheets on ...
