We visited the Bogmallo Hotel many times sad to say since the take over it has declined, not only the hotel the area outside is filthy and most undesirable the shops and stall holders think us tourists are millionaires, do they not realise we work all year round to save for hollidays, i certainly would not reccomened this Hotel or the Bogmallo village, there is a lot more pretty places in the South of Goa to stay.

I had the misfortune to recently book 6 nights at this well reviewed resort according to this site.
On my arrival, the management was so rude, and evasive of basic questions, and when I insisted that they inform me of their rules and regulations, I was point blank told to "GET OUT".

They charged 12% exchange rate on foreign currencies, ...

it is hard to find anything to dislike - the location is excellent and the food is great also - the only downside is that the pool area could do with a little upgrading. We went all inclusive and we would recommend that. Set in a quiet village and much preferred this to the noise and bustle of the resorts in northern Goa.

we first stayed at the hotel when the hotel was the Oberoi, 26 years ago, the service the cleanliness the food the staff were all excellent , but I have visited the hotel several times since and it is nowhere near the standard set by oberoi. To be fair we have not been since it has been called Bogmallo Beach Resort.

We had very good service,the staff are always eager to please,our room was cleaned daily with morning and evening service. the hotel is directly on the beach,very close to local bars and shops.
In all aspects the hotel interior lived up to all our expectations,the breakfasts are exellent and the dining area was more comfortable than we had ...

The staff were always friendly and helpful. Just a fantastic place!!! The rooms were clean and fresh.

Having said the above, it would be most useful if the hotel improved on their night entertainment. The same band playing got a bit boring after a few nights.

we loved the rooms we paid for a standard room and got a deluxe it was lovely, i have been three times now and we are going back on the 23rd jan07 for three weeks. the staff are fantastic and you can eat whatever you likefor breakfast the hotel itself is immaculate. my only dislike is the tax's they put on food and drinks it bangs the bill up ...

I have just returned from a holiday trip to Bogmalo Goa. It has been said earlier that it has a very good location (secluded, quiet, clean and beautiful beach very near to your room), top quality food and services, good decor and maintenance and an excellent value for money. However, lots need to be done to improve the sightseeing and the quality of entertainment provided at the hotel (we want a bit more than monotonus singing every night !).

I spent 2 weeks at this excellent Hotel, everything about it was pleasing especially the staff who catered for my every need.
When I left I said I would be back, and so I am, just over a year later. I can't wait to get there, unfortunately its only for a week this time, but I will certainly be spoilt and made to feel like a king.
