This once-lovely hotel has gone downhill in a major way. Many of the rooms are undergoing badly-needed renovation. The so-called executive suite sea-view rooms, for which we are paying top rates, are small, run-down and awkwardly arranged. The public areas are dark and dingy. Very comfortable, if a bit weird

Local consensus says this is the best hotel in Tel Aviv. Though not up to five star standards in Europe or the US, the hotel is located right across from the best beach in the city and is convenient to shopping and restaurant/nightlife.
