Fantastic hotel

This was our first visit to Croatia and we couldn't have picked a better place. The hotel Croatia is first class. The food is excellent, the scenery amazing. We loved it and it is the perfect location just far enough from Dubrovnik

I loved the setting, the rooms with view and the pool. The decor is not quite like an irish 5* hotel but the service and people are amazing. Food is not so good in the hotel, but I reccommend you take a strool down to the village of Cavtat and there are some fantastic restaurants with fresh fish.

I loved everything in this hotel except the totally bored look on the staff. They were pleasant but the smiles were not genuine and they looked overworked or miserable. We had quite a lot of beauty treatments and found some of the younger staff to be very unprofessional and rude. Pity as this is a lovely hotel.

location, relaxing atmosphire and the nice people made it to a beautiful vacation.The rooms were clean, and the service good. If it should be anything I missed, it would be live music in the nightclub.

Hotel was very clean and the service excellent. I had my4 0th there and the maid must have noticed the cards. On my return I found a complimentary botle of wine a a letter of congratulations. Food at hotel was great. I don't now why someone has commented negatively on the food - scrambled aggs were perfect by the way!. Drinks a little expensive though but you expect that on 5.star Cavtat is very pleasant. relaxed atmosphere.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and this time up-graded to a seaview room which was definately worth it. The first stay was good but we were very disappointed with the balcony--dark, dismal and generally not worth sitting out on hence the decision for this trip.We felt that for a five star hotel all the balconies should be at ...

I enjoyed the food!

Had a great time at this hotel and would recommend it.

There are a fair few steps to climb outside the hotel but the location is excellent.

An earlier reviewer was unhappy about the food. Not me - I loved it!

it was a very friendly and nice environment.
the food and the service was excellent.
the spot was so peaceful that ou don't want to leave.

BEST OF THE BEST

We have visited Cavtat many, many times and have stayed in The Hotel Cavtat, Private, Hotel Supetar and Hotel Croatia. We have found the Hotel Croatia absolutely perfect, with the Hotel Supetar perfect for access to the village without walking but slightly light on entertainment but still grrreat. We cannot wait to return.
Cleanliness, service and staff attitude cannot be beaten there also many activities for those so inclined
