simply put- This hotel does not provide appropriate security to protect you. do not stay here at any price. No matter how good the interior or its services are there is no security on the street to protect the customer.

Enjoyed totally our week at the Radisson. Incredible breakfast buffet. Large, clean, quiet room. Excellent sauna. Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful view of the Daugava River and Old Riga. Nice shops. We look forward to our next stay.

An old worn-out lady - not worth its price or stars

I used to know this venue, when it was worth of 5 stars. But returning back to it after some years it was a shocking disappointment. No service at all. One poor young lady in reception trying to cope with both phone calls and incoming guests. No bellstaff even being seen (in a 5 star hotel!!!). We reserved a room with two beds, but on arrival, the room they had for us only had one...so they gave us an adjoining room for our three-night stay at no additional charge. After making this concession, they offered us free champagne.

An enjoyable stay

Even though this hotel is on the "wrong" side of the river, do not let that deter you. It simply makes views of the city from across the river that much better! The walk over the nearby bridge takes only 5-10 minutes, and if you choose, the hotel runs a regular shuttle service across for you. Clean, modern rooms and a helpful staff make this a great choice. Oh, and check out the on-site casino while you are there!!
