The Hotel Roanoke is the best hotel in all of the city. I stayed in January because our house was being painted. The Regency Room is the best eatery I've ever had the pleasure of dining in. The food was super, the staff was attentive, and the free cookies at check-in were a very nice treat. The pool was nice and clean. When in Roanoke, stay at this hotel!!!

Our best convention was in Athens. Excellent business hotels with all meetings facilities, exlusive services, and historical side of Athens. Find on facebook the page of Athens convention bureau, become a fan and then u will have all and fresh informations without spending long time looking for them. It was helpfull for us when we were planning our convention there.

I must say I felt so pleased to see that you now have Security that patrols outside. Did not like at all. Was not as nice as they say but the price was. Service was lacking in all areas. Very high priced and no different in rooms than the Holiday Inn.

I've stayed at this property 2-3 times each year for the past six years. I find the services, accomodations and ammenties to be very good. The hotel's location allows you walk to restaurants and nightclubs in the area. The meeting facilities are well equipped with the latest technology.

I have stayed at the hotel for business and pleasure. The staff and management have created a wonderful experience for their guests to enjoy.

If you are planning on haveing a pet with you - better make sure you check with the hotel before had... This is not a neg for the hotel...but it is a note that Yahoo has the wrong incorrect information here. I called to double check on the ability to have pets with us - and they do NOT allow pets at this hotel.

The lady I spoke with was very friendly though - so if you don't have pets I bet it's a great place to stay :)

What a lovely hotel.....friendly folks....great service...EXCEPT while trying to enjoy the Club aka and being engulfed in cigarette smoke!!!! So bad that we had to leave after just a short time there...not just cigarettes...but cigars as well....Come on Hotel Roanoke for such a class act....this was a great disappointment

Facilities are big, bright and beautiful -- a very pleasing environment for having guests for a conference. When you hold a conference there, you get what you pay for. It's worth every penny. The snacks are refreshed regularly and the staff is very visible and willing to help whenever you need it. Furthermore, the rooms are very comfortable. My only issue is with the valets. They could use a bit more training and expediency.

My family and I traveled to Virginia this past April to go to the NASCAR race in Martinsville. In order to save some money, we stayed in the Hotel Roanoke, as the place is referred to. We were blown away.
It was a great deal, for about $150/night. Considering how pricy some hotels can be near racetracks on race weekend, this was a great deal. ...
