    This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at, anywhere. Two nights before we stayed at the Intercontinental in Tashkent, and this was far better. It is within walking distance to most everything in Almaty, and I would recommend it to anyone.

  • Not a real Hyatt

    We have stayed at Hyatt hotels before. They are famous for being a good, international and consistent luxury 5 star hotels. This was more of a 4 star. The hotel is getting old and it shows. The reception is large, impersonal and looks like an airport lounge. We had a Regency Room. For comparison, it was horrible compared to the Hyatt in Bishkek. ...
