I returned to the Del Rey in early December after not having been there for over a year and I couldn't even recognise the place. It's not as crowded and it is much cleaner, lighter, brighter and far less dodgy then it used to be. Obviously the girls are fantastic, but you can now sit there and drink in peace while chatting with friends and looking at the lovely ladies without being hassled by the women or feel threatened.

I love Costa Rica. Beautiful Country, nice people, and one big ugly city (San Jose). Hotel Del Rey is the only reason to be in San Jose. If you are a foreigner, it is where you want to be. Mucho ladies, casino and a club right across the street. The food is good but food is good all over Costa Rica. Just dont think you will find a lady to be your lady. Remember you cant make a Ho a housewife

I can't say enough about the Del Rey Hotel. I was actually treated like a king there. The food was great, the drinks were very reasonably priced, my room was very clean, and the staff couldn't do enough to accomadate me. And the girls, well, what can I say about the girls. They were beautiful, sexy, and everything I was told.

I visited a couple years ago and loved the place. I stayed at the Hotel Del Rey my first two nights there and the remainder of my stay at the Hotel Presidente, which I found to be much nicer, and it's just around the corner. And the Presidente doesn't charge you to bring "guests" to your room. The Del Rey does, or at least it did ...

Cant wait to go back!! Del Rey is the ultimate eye candy buffett. Promise you that once you go your concept of American girls and their mentality and attidudes will change forever. Love las TICAS!!! Will be going back at least twice a year.
