Our family has gone there for 14 years every year for our family reunion, and we stay there for 4 days and we have a blast. There is a lot to do you can go swimming in the pool, hot tub, and the lake. The rooms are very clean and very nice, and the hotel staff is just wonderful and so friendly. We have stayed there for many years and plan on many more.

I had surprised my wife for our 1st anniversary and we both really enjoyed our stay!! It was cold when we went but we had a great beach view w/a jacuzzi room!! The location of the hotel is great, right on the beach. The beach is also the nicest of any of the surrounding hotels as it is groomed daily which keeps the sand nice and soft. Lots of chairs are provided for your use as well. The hotel is about 3 miles from downtown Traverse City, so close enough to get too, but not within walking ...

The staff is friendly and the rooms clean & very nice! Love the private white sand beach, it's huge and always lots of chairs!! the complimentary breakfast room is wonderful, fresh fruits, cereals and waffles helps save travel for breakfast. gives you more beach time. My family has returned to this hotel 4 out of 5 years vacation to Traverse. once we found it we never go anywhere else.

Beautiful view and rooms are nice but not kid friendly. Kids had to stand on our cooler to reach the sink and to get into bed. The workers doing remodeling were not considerate of guests. Had to walk through junk on floor to get to pool and they parked carts full of stuff outside doors and were in the way when we were trying to load the car. Also hot tub near pool overflowed while we were in it.

We have gone here for years with our kids. All I can say is check it out for yourself, we have had nothing but great experiences.
