I've stayed here 3 times in the last two years. I like the value of getting a king room with jacuzzi for only $69/night during the week. The grounds are nice and the atmosphere is relaxed. The casino is adequate but not fancy, very low key...which I prefer. I haven't eaten their buffet food, a local pizza place will deliver. Terrible's ...
For $119.00 a night I expected alot better, cleaner room with at least more than a sliver of face soap. I called down to front desk (Kelly) @ 9pm for soap, but I fell asleep waiting for it, it never came, I gave up. Didn't expect so much noise, late at night or so early in the morning. The furniture must have been 30+ years old and the smallest ...

Not happy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/07
We had looked forward to staying at Saddle West for our first visit to Pahrump. Unfortunately it wasn't a good experience. The only person who was decent to us was the lady who checked us in, and she was new. Everyone, from the employees on the casino floor to the waiters acted as if they could have cared less and were just putting their ...
I stayed here for its proximity to Death Valley. I was pleased with the room and service from the front desk. Room was nice and service was excellent. Glad I got a room on the second floor so I didn't have to be concerned about people above me. Didn't get opportunity to use restaurant as it seemed like there was only one in the hotel and it ...

Heated Pool!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/06
I went to this hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday to get away from the big city. It was the middle of December and for some reason it was snowing. We were disappointed that the weather was so lousy, but there was a light at the end of the tunnel. The pool was open and heated! We swam for about an hour and it was so nice! I don't care ...
Stayed one night, May 28th 2006 in an exec. jacuzzi suite. A nice clean room but not really a suite. It had a large one person soaking tub with jets, a fridge and a coffee maker.
I was very impressed with the courtyard/pool area. Lots of trees, bushes and other plants gave a relaxing atmosphere. There is a large covered patio next to the pool ...

OUTSTANDING SERVICE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/06
FROM THE TIME I WALKED IN THE LOBBY UNTIL I LEFT I WAS WARMLY GREETED AND WELL CARED FOR BY THE HOTEL STAFF. ROOMS WERE CLEAN & TIDY.
I don't get it. All of the restaurants in Pahrump are packed to the hilt during the lunch and dinner hours, but you could usually get a seat at Saddle West. There's still not much of a wait most of the time - but I guess that's because the food is just so-so. Maybe that's why they feel the need to close early on week nights ...

Not a hotel for young people
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/05
This hotel seems to cater to older folks and people with children. I don't recommend staying here if you like sleeping later than 7:30AM, because that's when the children start screaming, the maids start running the vacuums, and the people start doing what sounded like Sumo wrestler jumping jacks directly above your bed. The staff could ...
