Just spent a weekend in August here. Nice place, not a fancy resort, but who wants to stay in their room in beautiful Alpine County? Barbara is a gracious hostess who is happy to make dinner reservations or point you in the right direction for anything. Hot tub is the spot to watch the stars at night! Don't waste your money in Tahoe or Sorenson's if you are just going to sleep there! Great for fishermen, skiersm and sightseers alike.

I called Barbara at Woodfords Inn at the last minute, on a holiday weekend. She was so nice and accomodating. I like how they serve you with respect in a beautiful area and a nice inn. Loved the people, food and pretty much... everything about it!!! And I almost forgot about the beautiful views!!! Don't just drive on by!!!
