I found the parking a little tricky to get in and out.. We all loved the cabin itself and the beds were great! Was a beautiful place for myself and my family - total of 5 in all along with 3 dogs. We fished out the back door. Am hoping to return this Sept. for my birthday again!

At first glance, the cabin was very cute. But after "living" there for two days, the flaws were evident. It wasn't as clean as it appeared, the beds were HORRIBLE, the bathroom was much too small and we had to request t-paper and towels.

Eight of us plus a baby stayed in the Founders Cabin. It was filthy; the floors were dirty and dusty. The attic/loft was dusty with no sheets. The dishtowels were dirty and greasy. They have so many things wrong I'm not even sure where to begin. To make it very brief think of their accusations logically. Is it likely we have the water heaters to be on during a time when nobody is taking a shower or is it more logical that we have them turned off during that time for conservation purposes (they had it backwards). This is what we got for $159/ night: Delux Cabin (including pet deposit)
The water heater was on a timer box and only scheduled to heat the water between 12am-3am, old ratty towls, dirty floors, rusty and broken pots and pans, cracked windows with screens held on by masking tape, a 12inch TV, terrible lighting in bathroom, dirty shower, coffee ...

Stayed at Christopher Creek Lodge recently and had a fantastic experience. The new owner welcomed us warmly upon arrival. Our cabin was right by the creek, sat out on the patio relaxing, listening to the creek... saw some other folks fishing into it a couple cabins down so we might try that next time. It was just a wonderful, quick getaway from the Valley... will definitely be going back.
