Love the Desoto... Always accomodating and a pleasurable relaxing stay. Best hotel on the beach. We have been going for years now and have not had an unpleasant experience to date. I highly recommend this hotel if staying on Tybee Island.

We are returning for our third vacation at DeSoto this July....read other reviews about the dirty floors.....don't know where they are, we had nothing but very clean and well-attended facilities....staff was more than cooperative and we thoroughly enjoy the DeSoto....that's why we're going back this year. overall experience was very good, nice size shower, but the hot water took too long to heat, view of the ocean was nice,service was good, restaraunts were close by within walking distance.

We spent the weekend in the beautifull home next to the hotel and what a wonderfull time we had..Great location, wonderfull easy access beach, warm intellegent fun loving staff...and and a very home like atmosphere we were very welcomed and suggest to everyone to stay at least one night...Have fun. Oh and if chance the weather dosn't hold the Home is beautifully furnished and has plenty of things to do in side.
