We stayed at the Governor Calvert House and it was great! The room was updated and very clean. The location was perfect. Next time I go to Annapolis I will stay here.

Our reservation was "lost" and we were given a lesser room. We were not given an apology nor a discount. We were unhappy with our stay.

Although there were three people in one room, there were amenities for only one person.
We were told at check-in that there would be a continental breakfast. There was none. When one of our party made an inquiry as to the breakfact, he was told that the breakfast was at another historic inn. We walked to the next inn, but no one was in sight. ...

Great location - right across from Statehouse and only two blocks down to the City Dock area. For only a few dollars more than staying in one of the chains off Route 50 you are right in the heart of the town, park the car and forget it. And the King sized beds were soooo comfortable!

Maryland Inn - Definitely stay away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/28/05

Great price/point in Annapolis

For the money, this was a great stay. Within very easy walking distance of all the historic and shopping areas in downtown Annapolis.

Maryland Inn, Annapolis
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/04
Quaint, but... We thought we'd reserved a King bed. Got a double in a tiny room. Both days we had a painter on a ladder right outside our window. The lamp was broken, the remote didn't work, the clock radio had a battery hanging out. We were charged for two nights of parking and didn't even have a car. Convenient location, but be prepared for not much in amenities.
