51 year old married couple. I have just come back from Malta (10/01/2008 - 17/01/2008) and we stopped at the Maritim Hotel Antonine and Spa. I was a lovely sight after travelling for an hour and a half from the airport. Lovely marble entrance and smilling friendly receptionist. We arrived at 2:00 and she checked that everything was ready in the ...

Very nice hotel, 3 pools one outside one inside and one on the roof! Great breakfasts and dinners and games goom with 2 pool tables and racing game and more! And steam sauna and a regular one. In the room you have a bed for two (plus another foldable one if your 3) A TV with many channels, minibar and balcony with view over the pool. Though ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/07
First of all... WAUW!!! What a hotel! My cousin and I were staying at the Maritim Antonine in Mellieha, Malta. I used to work on Malta as a guide for some years ago, so I know what Mellieha contains as a city and the island in general. If you can´t find any charming, historical or amazing experiences during your stay here, whell then you must be ...

the hotel itself from the outside is lovely, the front bar is nice and the reception area is kept to a very high standard. the problem with this hotel was the distance from the rooms, we had to go through a 'tunnel' to get to our room and the room itself was quite small and the view was terrible.. it is definitely not a place for anyone who ...

The maltese people are so friendly and helpful that we would recommend Malta, and particularly this hotel for anyone who wants a good ...

Not worth the money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/05
We spent a week at the hotel in August. The location of the room was terrible. We had to use to different elevators and walk through an underground tunnel to get there. Who knows what will happen if there is a fire in the building. We wouldn't get out! Using the balcony would not have been any use since our view was the opposite hotel room. The ...

Never again....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/05
My room wasn't in the hotel but in what I'd consider to be the annex across the road, through and underground tunnel.
My room was over the bar where music thumped until the wee hours of the morning. Early Sunday morning 00:30 to 01:30 the dragging of furniture across floors without carpet resounded.
