My wife and I spent 3 days there after New Years 2008 and it was GREAT!!!
The staff, especially Elena and Omar, went out of their way to be of service to us. The hotel property is beautiful. Landscaped terraces, flowers and an overall feel of a true villa.

The good news is that Villa Fiorio is generally as the hotel website describes. It is characterful and well located between Frascati and Grottaferrata and the beds are very comfortable.

The hotel itself was clean and well presented, but the major fault was with the overall customer service. Prior to my visit I called to pre-order a bottle of champagne, the concierge and I both agreed that the champagne should be in the room for 12pm. When we arrived at 12 pm we were told that we would not be able to enter our room until 2pm. ...

We were led to believe that this place is in Rome (Roma addressed popped up on Internet- we booked through Last minute.com). It was too late by the time we found this out and were assured that it is only 20 km away from Rome with good transport links.
In our experience,local transport was aweful and taxis very expensive.
