This hotel has been renovated, but the standard of renovation is poor. The bedrooms are basic with unattractive furniture. The dining room felt more like a cafeteria, and the quality of the food was indifferent. Pula has some interesting Roman remains (eg the colliseum)but it's otherwise a drab city wrapped around a busy port. It's a 3-star hotel masquerading (and pricing itself) as a 4-star.
