I knew going in that this was not going to be luxury accomodations, based on the price. But it was barely acceptable, cheap or not. What bothered me the most was how filthy the common areas (hallways, stairs, parking lots) were. There are absolutely no ammenities what with a broken ice maker and too few towels in the room. I will give credit to the cheerful and helpful desk staff. But that's not enough to convince me to ever return.

I would consider myself a hotel snob, always wanting to stay in the top of the line places because I am such a neat freak. When you're looking on-line and you don't see a picture and you read that it's a motel, don't be fooled. Online the hotel rate is saying 85.00-90.00 a night and when calling the hotel they said double. they said they never had that rate. What rate is it then?????? Very disapointed Customer!!!!!!!

We have been visiting family in this area for 20 years. We rented houses before this so we could take our family dog.
This is the best of all.
What a wonderful find.
The staff could not be nicer.
I hope we can always stay here when we visit.

As someone who has been staying at this location before Seascape took over, I was pleasantly suprised at all the wonderful upgrades. The beds are comfortable, the staff was great (GM Ryan Bonner was a tremendous young man) and we could tell they were dedicated to customer service.

With the O.V., we never knew what sort of room we'd end up in...but that's part of the charm of this location is everything motel. Yes the beds are lumpy and there's no phone service, but you're right at Mercer's pier. I love the O.V.!
