I stayed here last summer, my husband and I had a romantic time. The service was so personal and imformative on the area and where to go for the best dinner and which boat to take for the whales, we had a wonderful time, I can't wait for the remodel, It will just be a bonus! Friday's Historic Inn is the Best!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/06
I stayed at this wonderful Bed&Breakfast for the 1st time in October 2006. The morning breakfast had plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, cereals, and freshly baked scones, etc. The Inn was very clean and the rooms too. I had the best night sleep than in a noisy hotel. The staff was excellent, they couldn't do enough for us during our ...

don't stay there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/06
We booked an expensive room thinking it would be a romantic place to stay. The room was so loud we didn't sleep at all. The bar across the street, the grocery store behind it, and the trash dumpster outside the window all added up to make it miserable. The room itself was run down and had many broken fixtures. The mattress was old and neeed to be replaced.
Not worth the money and I needed a vacation when I got home!

Beyond comfort in the middle of town
By pattisadowski, 01/10/06
Friday's Historic Inn has been our Friday Harbor hide away on our last three trips to the San Juan Islands. It is in the middle of everything fun to do in town and a quick hop from the ferry dock. There are also many great restaurants near-by. The building was nicely decorated for the Christmas holidays. The rooms are more than comfortable ...

Our favorite Friday Harbor hotel.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/05
We keep going back to the Inn, finding it charming and a great departure from overly intimate and fussy bed and breakfast places as well as the long, sterile hallways and standardly decorated rooms of larger hotels. The Inn is unique, each room different from the next and it is just the right size for us. The staff is very friendly and we really love the morning scones. Finally, the convenient location and reasonable price are ideal.

Great location, rooms and service
By Kelly Devlin, 12/14/05
Excellent location, a short walk from the ferry -- we left our cars in Anacortes. Very attractive and clean Inn with about 12 rooms, all very unique. Chris was the innkeeper and was very nice and had lots of great ideas of what we could do during our stay. Breakfast spread did not include eggs or meat but Chris made fresh scones and there was ...

Friday's is Awesome!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/05
This boutique hotel com B&B is small enough to be cozy and welcoming, yet with all the elegant amenities. The staff is wonderful - extremely helpful desk folks, friendly and professional housekeepers - fresh-baked scones, great coffee and fresh fruit every morning - the hospitality-first dedication of the owners is obvious in the experience of the guests. Thank you, Friday's!
Family-like treatment and spacious confy rooms (We stayed on the "San Juan" suite) with a somewhat off-taste decor, but quaint nevertheless. The bathroom fixtures a tad outdated... But nothing feels more luxurious than your own jacuzzi on an island that claims its water to be scarce. No breathtaking views from the balcony... But Friday ...
