Woody and Betsy are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable! We spent a week there and was not disappointed at anything on our vacation to Glacier National Park. The food was fantastic (great coffee too!), and the views were incredible! Nearby Whitefish and very close to shops and restaurants. Rode the Amtrak which made the trip even more fun!
We have stayed at just about all the B&B's, hotels/motels, and lodges in Whitefish and nothing compares to the ambiance, cleanliness, friendlyness, and value of the GML. The breakfasts are suberb and there are always great homemade cookies available as snacks. It just doesn't get any better than the Good Medicine Lodge!!

I can't say enough about the outstanding service and comfort offered from the Good Medicine Lodge. We arrived on the Amtrak and then Woody shuttled us from the depot to the lodge. Upon entering I was greeted by the scent of fresh baked cookies and hot coffee. Our stress from all our traveling and planning instantly melted away. Our room was ...

Good Medicine: Indeed it is!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/07
Good Medicine is the PERFECT name for this treasure. Woody and Betsy have created a bit of heaven on earth. Breakfast started with fresh figs, followed by an artichoke and salsa 'puffed' omelet. Yum! The Lodge has it all: ambiance, location, great hospitality, and even a washer/dryer for coming back from hikes and trails. What a warm, welcoming 'hug' during my trip! RX: Return as often as possible.

Everything, from the gourmet breakfast to being greeted at the end of the day with a glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres, makes every day perfect. Hosts Betsy and Woody Cox pick herbal sachets from their gardens(in season)for guests evening baths. Although rooms are connected to the wood-lined lodge interior, each has outdoor access to a balcony ...
We just returned from a 3-night stay at Good Medicine Lodge. We were delighted with everything about this pristine bed and breakfast...beautiful decor, cozy lounging areas, fabulous photographs, and wonderful food. What made our stay most memorable, however, was the friendliness and personal attention of the lodge's owner, Woody. He even ...

Goode Medicine Lodge is probably the best value in loding and hospitality any where. We visit several times a year because of all the wonderful things to do in the area.
In the winter, Big Mounatin offers excellent mountain skiing and fun activities such as the winter carnival each Feburary. The torch light parade down the mountain cannot be ...

Can't think of any dislikes, and the likes are numerous- where do you start? First off, the hosts, Betsy and Woody, treat you like best friends. Then, the lodge itself is immaculate and well appointed with every amenity imaginable. The breakfasts are incredible, and in the evenings there are complimentary appetizers and wine to end the day. ...
