I stayed here during my trip to Ontario...I thought the hotel was very nice considering the age of it. The location is perfect could not ask for better. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only complaint that I have it the room was very small.

Second time we've been back here just can't beat location, you can go just about anywhere in minurtes by foot, this time drove in from airport which was easy, parking was close by. Rooms are small but I'm not there to sit in the room, it's clean and comfortable. My only negative comment is this trip the staff were not warm at all. ...

Even though the rooms were small, they were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is less than a block from Union Station (subways, trains, streetcars, and buses) and a very short walk from many of the main attractions such as Air Canada Centre.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, rooms a bit small, but I would definately go back. Best hotel I have stayed in in Tortonto. The Pub was a great place to meet people too.

Whenever we travel into the city we usually stay here. After a night out or going to the game (who wants to drive back home???) so we get a room here. The rooms are small, but the price is excellent for th earea (We stayed for $145 CAN and the big hotel next door wanted $295 - WOW!!)

The location and price are the selling features for this hotel.
It is a basic basic hotel. Clean with some renovations done. Very small closets with no extras. Not a 4 Star and doesnt say it is. Great breakfast at a good price for downtown Toronto.

Warm charm of an older establishe hotel. Good inobtrusive service. The setting gave a local feeling. Location allowed walking to many of Toronto's sights and institutions.
