Good Location

Had to wait 1 hour for the room to be clean before able to checkin. Room was reserved 1 month ago.

No Hot Water at 11:00 pm

Never met more unhelpful staff
We had used our room for mostly to keep our luggage as we were out most of the time
The rooms had small cockroaches in them
It also had an awful smell
We were in Kuala lumpur for 3 days but had only 2 days booking with them
To avoid the difficulty of finding another hotel we asked for an extension of one more ...

I stayed in the Swiss Garden Hotel for 7 nights in February 2007. It was the 2nd time around for me.

The hotel has been renovated since the last time I was there 3 years ago.

The rooms are super clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and new. The airconditioning worked very well.

the location is really far from the shopping area..moreover,i stayed at the hotel during the period when they were renovating the hotel..the makeshift breakfast area was so cramp and congested..guests could havrdly have enough time to have a good breakfast..i believe such facilities should not be compromised even though renovations are ongoing..the rooms are generally clean..i would choose another hotel the next time i visit KL..

Our family was coming back from singapore in the evening, and we settled in very nicely into the swiss garden. The parking was a little cramped but multi-leveled, the rooms were nice and spacious. The buffet was pretty nice in the morning especially the orange juice. The great thing about this hotel is its location in downtown and being able to reach most things. I would reserve again at swiss garden next time we come back to Kuala Lumpur!

A once popular hotel for athletes of the commonwealth games, the hotel dresses up really nicely, photographs well, has a nice lobby and dining room with complimentary breakfast, BUT rooms are small dirty and blankets are strewn with cigarette butt burns.
