Location is great - close to Duomo and walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and train station.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean and good size. Had safe and mini-bar. Best of all had an elevator which is rare for Italy but much appreciated!

My husband and I stayed here in September, 2007 and can say nothing but good things about it. Our room overlooked the little plaza and Medici Chapel. The room was decent in size, immaculate and comfortable. The staff, Andrea and Rafaella, were warm and charming, not to mention helpful. The location and price, combined with the good experience, made this stay our best in Italy.

We lead a tour to Tuscany every June. We always recommend the Hotel Palazzo Benci to our group. We have stayed at the Benci at least 4 seperate times and have always enjoyed our time there.

My parents and I loved this place. Excellent location, decent price, cute courtyard, and the most delightful and helpful guy working the main desk. But my experience is dated and from 2001. Small cosy Euro-style rooms, but delightful and charming and great service, in my book!
