Was not required to leave a credit card per front desk when checking in until asked about in room internet, and was told will only receive charge if used, otherwise just holding credit card number and will not run it, but actually pre charged $150 without telling me, be vary careful about this. Also rode 3 different elevators one goes to beach ...
Sunday 4/18 - Allegiant Air charter from Wichita Falls to Laughlin through Harrahs. Flight was good and we arrived early and the 10 minute bus ride from the airport to Harrah's was quick and efficient. Got our check in packet and went straight to our room in the central tower on the 7th floor. Room was great and yes somewhat old but you only ...
Checked in found out there was no kids quest so we left in search of one. The video game room was over crowded with unparented kids running around. There were however staff watching to make sure none of the kids left to get on the gaming floor. The lobby was nice with the starbucks right there as well as a nice hotel gift shop. The mcdonalds on the way to the room along with the bakery was good. Would go back but not with small children.
first of all harrahs is not what it seems to be......it totally sucked..i payed up front for three rooms..req. each room have two king size beds, when i get there they have no rooms available with two beds, and the hotel manager says theirs nothing she can do their are no rooms available until the next day!!!! but they can sure take my husbands money ...

Stayed here twice, in the North Tower (family) - price seems to have gone up since last trip; there are pretty good deals in Vegas now too. Would like to try Central Tower, but the rooms need to be cheaper. Also think all hotels should have minifridge and in-room safe. The room and view were nice and the beds were FANTASTIC! Elevators are ...
Nicest staff on the river. Good clean rooms, block walls help with soundproofing. Lots of waitresses in the casino. Great place to stay.

Went once-won't return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/08
We just returned on 7-26-08. Laughlin in general is a depressing little area and reminds us of a throwback area to the 70's. Low ceilings in the casino, dingy appearance (but relatively clean), stinking of cigarette smoke, and the help all seemed to be AARP members(although friendly). WEe thought the buffet food quality and selection was very ...

Security Issues???
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/08
Room was fine...price was right. Beach Cafe was just OK, Baja Blue was much better. Casino was on the small side, but had a decent selection of games to play. Car broken into in parking structure and we were advised we weren't the first that morning. Security didn't seem very concerned and left us with the impression this happens more ...
