She did give us another room, but that room was just as dirty, though there was no odor. We kindly requested a refund because of the condition of the room. ...

We enjoyed this resort because it was close drive to area attractions and the views of the lake was nice. It was quiet place to stay meaning that no kids running and making noise at all hours. We went in the fall and felt the place was worth the value we paid and nicer that a Hotel.

We found the Edgewater by accident many years ago and have gone back every summer since then. Every suite faces Round Lake so there are no bad views. It's just across the street from the Weathervane restaurant, across the drawbridge from downtown Charlevoix, and a short walk to Lake Michigan. Or just sit on the balcony and watch the boats ...
